HOMEWORK FOR NEXT WEEK/ PLATFORM WRITING ACTIVITY + 2nd WRITING ACTIVITY
Good morning to everyone,
the next post will be in Spanish to avoid any confusion.
Este post tiene como fin publicar la tarea para la siguiente semana junto a la respectiva explicación.
Como aclaración esta actividad es un ejercicio de escritura (WRITING) propuesto por la plataforma del libro de texto de la clase, English in Common 4A, y todos sin excepción tengan libro o no deben hacerlo.
El ejercicio para este corte 2 lo dejó a continuación en una guía de trabajo con el escrito que debe realizar y que será calificado y computado en la nota del 20% (classwork) de la materia.
VER DOCUMENTO / DESCARGA DIRECTA DEL ARCHIVO EN PDF
(Nota: en este archivo encuentran las 2 actividades de lectura, la hoja 1 es el escrito 1 y la hoja 2 es el escrito 2)
Básicamente lo que deben hacer es escribir un texto que cumpla con los aspectos que se les piden en cada una de las actividades y que cada uno debe tener un mínimo de palabras de entre 90 y 100.
Específicamente en el ejercicio 5 (unidad 2) deben escribir acerca de una carta, correo electrónico, o mensaje de texto que recibió. Incluya la siguiente información: (1) cuándo llegó, (2) qué estaba haciendo en ese momento, (3) cómo se sentía antes de abrirlo, (4) cómo se sintió después, (5) qué hizo a continuación.
Aparte de la guía para que la descarguen (desde aquí), la dejaré también en físico en DJ papelería en caso de que a alguno le resulte más sencillo ir a sacarla allá.
Favor entregar dicha guía resuelta en la clase # 2 de la siguiente semana, ósea martes 9 para el grupo E041, miércoles 10 para el grupo B131 y viernes 12 para el grupo E201 (sí lo hacen en la plataforma también dejarlo hecho para estas fechas para alcanzar a revisarlos, a pesar de que la actividad está habilitada para todos hasta el viernes 12).
Los estudiantes que sí tengan acceso a la plataforma del libro pueden realizar dichos escritos en la plataforma de forma digital donde serán revisados y calificados por el docente. Con el fin de prever cualquier inconveniente con la plataforma, tal cómo nos pasó en el corte 1, favor tomar una captura de pantalla del texto a entregar y guardarlas.
POR OTRO LADO, APROVECHO Y TAMBIÉN LES DEJO EL SEGUNDO ESCRITO.
Este escrito tiene características similares al anterior (extensión, es de la la plataforma, se suma en el 20%). Sin embargo, la diferencia radica en el contenido y en la fecha a entregar. Datos que comparto a continuación:
EN EL ARCHIVO DEL ESCRITO 1 SE ENCUENTRAN AMBAS ACTIVIDADES
Específicamente en el ejercicio 5 (unidad 3) deben escoger una de las categorías que se les dan: cantantes/bandas, películas, libros, restaurantes, actores, lugares de vacaciones; y escribir una lista de 5 cosas favoritas en esa categoría. Luego debe escribir un párrafo explicando por qué escogió las cosas de su lista. Use comparativos y superlativos.
Aparte de la guía para que la descarguen (desde aquí), la dejaré también en físico en DJ papelería en caso de que a alguno le resulte más sencillo ir a sacarla allá.
Favor entregar dicha guía resuelta en la clase # 1 DESPUÉS DE SEMANA SANTA, ósea lunes 22 para el grupo E041, martes 23 para el grupo B131 y miércoles 24 para el grupo E201 (sí lo hacen en la plataforma deben hacerlo para el lunes 22 pues esta se cierra en esta fecha).

AUTONOMOUS WORK
Hello students,
It's a reality that because of time constraints we aren't able to work on all the pages from the book.
Taking into account this it is necessary that you work autonomously on those said pages, therefore, this week you should work on your own on pages 22, 23, 24, 26 and 27.
I want to be clear and highlight that those pages WON'T be checked nor graded so it is your decision and responsibility to do them or not.
It's a reality that because of time constraints we aren't able to work on all the pages from the book.

el presente tiene como fin recordarles que en la plataforma MyEnglishLab ya se encuentran disponibles las actividades a realizar para ganarse los puntos extras en el 80% de la materia. Las mismas podrán desarrollarse hasta el próximo viernes 3 de mayo.
Tengan en cuenta que SÓLO los ejercicios que les dan los puntos extras son los de la pestaña ASSIGNMENTS, la primera de izquierda a derecha (favor ver imagen adjunta).
Las actividades de la pestaña #2 COURSE son para practicar y/o repasar pero no se tendrán en cuenta para los puntos.

1)Conjugate the verbs from the box into the passive or active voice, and the proper tense.
2)Complete the text with the relative pronouns.
3 )Circle the correct form of the verbs, simple past or past progressive.
Teacher will check it on the second class of next week (Tuesday April 2nd for group E041, Wednesday April 3rd for group B131, and Friday April 5th for group E201).
Note: In case you don't have the book please solve the exercises on a piece of paper and hand it out to the teacher. Photocopies WON'T be accepted because of copyright.
QUIZ REMINDER
Next week there will be a short quiz about the unit we just finished, unit 2. So please study for it It wil be held during the second classes of next week.
